At Angelica Jewellers, that idea is developed through design, proportion, material selection and craftsmanship until it becomes a finished piece created specifically for the client. From the first conversation to the final polish, each stage is carefully considered to bring the original vision to life.

Once the direction of the piece is established, the idea begins to take visual form. Initial concepts are refined through proportion, scale and detail before being developed digitally. CAD allows us to study the design from every angle, make precise adjustments and ensure that the finished piece will balance beauty, wearability and craftsmanship.

Every custom piece begins by translating an idea into a visual concept. The first sketch establishes the overall form, proportions and character of the design, giving us a foundation from which the piece can be developed and refined.

DIGITAL DEVELOPMENT

REFINING THE DESIGN IN CAD

The concept is then developed digitally, where every dimension can be examined with precision. Stone placement, proportions, symmetry, structure and fine details are adjusted until the design achieves the balance, appearance and functionality required for production.

THE FINAL CREATION

FROM DESIGN TO REALITY


Once the design has been approved and brought through production, the original concept becomes a finished piece of jewellery. What began as a sketch is now realized in precious metal and gemstones, preserving the intention of the original design while revealing the craftsmanship behind the final creation.

FROM FIRST CONVERSATION TO FINAL DELIVERY

Behind every custom piece is a one-on-one process designed to keep the client informed and involved from beginning to end. From the first conversation and design deposit to CAD approval, final quotation, production and delivery, each stage is developed with clarity so the client understands exactly what is being created before production begins.

  • STEP 01 — INITIAL CONSULTATION WHERE THE IDEA BEGINS


    Every custom project begins with a one-on-one conversation. We discuss the client’s vision, inspiration, preferred style, dimensions, gemstones, metal and the purpose behind the piece. The goal is to understand the idea clearly before the design process begins.

  • STEP 02 — DESIGN DEPOSIT BEGINNING THE CREATIVE PROCESS

    Once the direction is established, a design deposit is taken to begin the conception and development of the piece. This deposit covers the design process and is credited toward the final purchase when the project proceeds.

  • STEP 03 — CAD & SCALE SEE IT BEFORE WE MAKE IT

    The concept is developed into a detailed CAD design and presented from multiple angles. We also help the client understand the true scale of the piece so proportions can be evaluated before production. For pendants, for example, the design can be viewed at scale on a mobile screen and held against the chest in front of a mirror.

  • STEP 04 — REVIEW & REFINEMENT DESIGNED WITH YOU

    The client reviews the design and can request adjustments to proportions, details or styling. We continue refining the piece until the design is fully approved and reflects the client’s

  • STEP 05 — FINAL QUOTE & PRODUCTION FROM APPROVAL TO CREATION

    Once the design and specifications are finalized, we can accurately establish the production cost. After the client approves the quote, a 30% production deposit is taken and the piece moves into manufacturing.

  • STEP 06 — FINAL DELIVERY THE REVEAL

    When production, setting, finishing and final inspection are complete, the remaining balance is paid upon delivery. By this stage, the client already understands the design, scale and specifications—leaving the final reveal to showcase the craftsmanship and presence of the finished piece.

At Angelica Jewellers, transparency is central to the custom process. Before production begins, the client has already reviewed the design, understood the scale, approved the details and received a final quotation based on the completed specifications.

Our goal is to remove uncertainty from the process. The client knows what is being created, how it will be proportioned and what has been approved before the piece moves into production.

The final reveal should not be a surprise because the design is different from what was expected. It should be a surprise because the finished craftsmanship, brilliance and presence of the piece exceed what could be fully appreciated on a screen.
